In 2003, a homeopathic dispensary was inaugurated by Swami Madhavananda Giri. The dispensary is located in front of the Puri Kendra and is open from 4 pm to 6 pm everyday (except Sunday). At present, the dispensary is daily serving around 40 patients, both from the fishermen community as well as residents from the neighborhood.

Several neighbors have expressed deep appreciation for this service, which includes not only diagnosis of illness but also provides free medicines.
